Confused With 24U 05U

I have the early 89 model gtr, some people say that the early 05u gtr blocks are stronger then the newer N1 blocks. Apparently the new generation N1 blocks have problems

I find this hard to believe but is this true?

05U is stock RB26

24U is N1 RB26

RRR is GT (NISMO for JGTC)

The GT is the strongest of the bunch. If you are building a monster (and therefore budget isn't as much of a concern as someone doing a stock rebuild as an example), try and find a GT Block.

As for early 05U being stronger than 24U, the only way to know for sure is to get them both independently tested (metallurgy). But personally I can't believe any 05U is better than any 24U.

Partial grout fill and don't go past 86.5-87mm on an over bore and a 05u will do the job
