 man i wish all dyno's would read the exact same just hp and kg/cm^2

my rb20 made 186.4rwkw(from memory) but had 841nm of torque... (10psi.. i dont like that dyno sorta false readings me think

dyno to dyno.. you'll never get the same reading.. it sux

Hi guys, a roller dyno doesn't measure "nm" (newton metres) or "ft/lbs" (foot pounds) it measures "n" (newtons) or "lbs" (pounds), they are not the same. Newton metres and foot pounds can only be measured on an engine dyno.:P

Yeh that dyno is reading astromonical Torque figures there lol

To understand why you cant measure torque on a dyno, do a run in 3rd gear and then 4th gear. You'll find the tractive effort will be [gear ratio 3rd]/[gear ratio 4th]. They only way you can compare tractive effort between cars is by using the same wheel combo/diff&gearbox ratios and gear used on the run.
