We were looking to bring back subscription packages (like we used to have years ago).

But with Christian out of action for quite a while I would say it won't occur this side of June, probably Jul/Aug before they are brought back at the earliest

No one has real experience with it unfortunately.

Christian does, however he is quite ill in hospital, it will be months before he is back in action.

Ill take a look when i get time, but to be honest one user problem vs a forum of problems/bugs post upgrade (i gotta priorities etc)

Does SAU have a bank account? If so, can you post the details here? Perhaps then we could post a donation with our username as a way of ID'ing ourselves?

I'd love to setup the old subscription system so donators get extra PM space, no flood control and that type of stuff rather than SAU taking donations from lovely people and nothing in return

Ooooh Benefits sound good. but the fact that SAU gives so much as is, is easily enough to warrant us chucking some of our monies at it.

The subscription plug-in, did it all automatically. Expired automatically too.

So you did a PayPal and the tag appeared all automated like. Having to manually reconcile with a bank account for something like that = the pits.

All about less work, not more!
