Falling Out Of Gear *r33 Gtst*

Hi sorry if I've missed an existing thread but here we go anyway.

Ive put in an "apparently" newly reco'd box however it has a hell of a lot play in neutral and it will always fall out of gear (except for reverse) if its not engaged. Come to think of it you can barely feel it go into gear however it does drive.

Any ideas?

Problem solved. Missing detent. Getting fixed at the cost of my uber expensive gearbox oil that will no doubt be lost in the process

Where'd you get the gearbox from? A workshop or second hand? If a workshop did the reco for you, ask them.

Gearboxes usually fall out of gear if the gear is not engaged...

Got the box second hand but freshly built. Took it to the shop that built it today. They said theyll fix it for nothing. Ill definately be asking them to reuse the oil.

Only falls out at neutral throttle. Operates fine just nothing holding the selector in place.
