SeriesIIGTST
I just got one of these and don't have a guage to set base fuel pressure. Anyone know what pressure they come set with from the factory? Cheers! Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/39889-nismo-adj-fuel-pressure-regulator/ Share on other sites

rev210
Mate just go get a guage and make sure. I guess for the saving of $20 odd you can take the risk that you might lean out your nice new $5k rebuild. Sydneykid
Is there more than one type of nismo adjustable fuel pressure reg? Yes at least 2, one fits on the fuel rail and one is for remote mounting. Bl4cK32
do you need one of these if you're running bigger injectors (550cc) and a 044? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/39889-nismo-adj-fuel-pressure-regulator/#findComment-831530 Share on other sites
Sydneykid
do you need one of these if you're running bigger injectors (550cc) and a 044? Only if you need to increase the fuel a little more than the injectors flow at standard pressure. 32ZiLA
Anyone know where you can get a fuel pressure gauge for $20? I've been looking around and I can get plenty that are 0-15psi, but I need one that goes to at least 60psi as the stock pressure should be 43 psi when the ignition is on for a GTR. Steve
do you need one of these if you're running bigger injectors (550cc) and a 044? Bai suggested Iget one to raise base fuel pressure to 3KG, as it will assist in making the car more responsive. Also, if you have Sard 550cc injectors, they are rated at 550cc at 3.05kg, at stock pressure 2.55kg, they are around 510cc. they also have a bit more lag than the stock injectors, I have +0.08ms correction for mine and they run sweet, but this is at 2.55kg - havent upped the pressure yet:) soon. PSI_GTSII
I have just fitted a rising rate reg to my RB30.... a fuel injector 'cleaner guy' was out today fixing a Leaky injector I had and was shocked at my fuel pressure...apparently 100kpa at idle...! He bypass'd the reg and got it down to 50Kpa, where it ran smoother... What pressure should it run at idle? Steve
100kpa is only 14.5lbs or 1 bar. What does the VL normally run? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/39889-nismo-adj-fuel-pressure-regulator/#findComment-851888 Share on other sites
