V35 Sedan - How To Remove The Led That Illuminates The Window Switches

Hi, I have a 2002 V35 GT8. On both the driver's and passenger side front door cards, there is an LED under the interior handle which casts a light over the power window switches.

The led on the driver's side has stopped working and I'd like to replace it. Does anyone know how to remove this without damage?

I damaged mine trying to do this on my drivers door. The whole coot car has to be removed to access it. It's a total pain but that's how.

Nuwan from Import Revolution in Melbourne (knows the v-sedan like no one else) has a heap of the wrecking and will more than likely have one at a good price.

I have led flood lights an LX, so only the driver side switches illuminate. I purchased some EX switches off of fleabay and replaced blue led strip them. I noticed that on the circuit board inside the switch, there is an led panel

lamp under the lock switch too but it does not illuminate. So, are the lock switches suppose to illuminate?

The lock switched don't but on the front doors under the door grabs you pull to close the door there are two LED lights that light up the power window switch on the passenger and all the controls on the drivers door. The lights are not on all the time and come on when the headlights/Parkers are on.

These are a B@$&H to replace....
