Is there any further cost and is there an option of installing it yourself. Anyone could get it fitted just to work out where everyone else's had been fitted. I wouldn't want just any installer knowing where mine was. If you know what I mean. Only being cautious. I would be keen if I could do it myself.

Yeah mate we will have them available for sale cheaper to install yourself - super easy to install.

Not wise to the average person to install, when they fail to stop a thief or fark up the car , then what blame the unit or install?

do not install them in the same spot as all the others !! Do not advertise it!!

It has to be buried and stealth or its a waste of time and money

In most cases warranties are void if you self install so beware!!

(Brad is exception pretty sure he could do his own!)

Pm me if you want some sugguestions or relay applications book help

Hey guys just be aware, I had a cheater car alarm from car toys which I heard was one of the best, accidentally cut the alarm wires doing a job in the engine bay, the alarm sounded then it earthed out on the engine bay and fried the alarm, alarm, immobaliser, and central locking stopped working but didnt stop the car from driving, GET A CLUB LOCK at least it's seen n it's going to take a long time to break.

darren franks is a guy who steals a lot of skylines, his favourite is the r32 gtr, he uses ebay, gum tree etc etc to find your cars (not the only way but one of his common, asside from getting high on bup and wandering the streets), then poof gone

Report it to police dont slander someone on SAU

(For legal reasons )

by not reporting it you can become part of the problem in stopping it

      $170K. I asked one of the guys there as a joke if that price was just for the passenger seat as it was where the price sheet was... he tried really hard to crack a smile 😄 He also mentioned that every single part of the car was inspected and either restored or replaced with a new or as new part, or made from scratch. The interior was incredible, every inch like a new car.

      Time for a modernisation, throw out the AFM, stock O2s, ECU into the e-waste bin. Rip out the cable throttle, IACV, pedal, etc. into the scrap metal bin. DBW, e-throttle, modern ECU, CANbus wideband, and the thing will drive better than when it left the factory.

      I agree, don't go trusting those trims. As I said, first step is to put the logger away, and do the basics in diagnosis.   I spend plenty of time with data loggers. I also spend plenty of time teaching "technicians" why they need to stop using their data loggers, and learn real diagnostics.   The amount of data logs I play with would probably blow most people away. I don't just use it to diagnose. I log raw CAN data too, as a nice chunk of my job is reverse engineering what automotive manufacturers are doing.

      I'm aware, but unless you're actually seeing the voltage the ECU is seeing and you're able to verify the sensors are actually working I find it hard to just trust STFT/LTFT. I will say, logging the ECU comes naturally to me because it's one of the lowest effort methods of diagnosis and I do similar things in my day job all the time. Staring at 20+ charts looking for something that isn't quite right isn't for everyone. NDS1 allows you to log almost everything so that's normally what I do and then sort out the data later.

      Silly question, as I bet you've checked already, but the motor turns over by hand yes? I suspect Neil has a spare starter, though if not, I believe I have a spare R33 (or two) starter.
