Hey guys I have a r34 GTT skyline and traction control wont work.

The tcs and slip light's are on all the time, its been like this since I bought the car and then it worked for a month or 2 then stopped again.

What could cause the traction control not to work?

At the beggining with the tcs and slip lights on I thought my coilpacks were busted from reading on here but I've put a new set of Yellow Jackets on there and those lights are still on.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

When you turn the IGN on, do you get the loud sound from the electronic TCS motor on the crossover pipe go click-humm....click?

If you aren't hearing that sound on every key on event (TCS self test of the electric throttle motor), then it's that.

If it's not that, it could possibly be the secondary TPS located on the back side of the crossover pipe. Check power and signal to/from that and check primary TPS signal as well

Hey thanks for the quick response, no it doesn't make any sound, and when it did work I just remembered it was after I sprayed the crap out of the inlet with throttle body cleaner, so I guess I just have to hunt down one of those, thanks.

Hey guys abit of an update just incase someone else is having the same problem as me, I sorted it out thanks to Elite Racing, I got the TCS motor finally after looking for it for so long and my problem was fixed, my TCS motor was still making the noise as he described but wasnt loud, you could barely hear it, so I bit the bullet and got another one, when I pulled it apart the old one still spun and all but still wasnt working, must have lost its power and wasnt quick enough or something like that, but just a quick heads up if your having the same problem try the TCS motor, a big thanks to Elite Racing as I was trying to fix this problem since I bought the car almost a year ago, thanks.
