Mazda Bravo 4Wd Conversion To Ford Courier 2Wd

As above I have a 2001 2wd ford courier and a mate has a written off bravo 4wd ute it's an 03 or 04 model but practicly the same .same engine etc but it's 4wd turbo diesel not 2wd .

My question is I know the courier is a bravo rebadged but are the 4wd and 2wd chassis the same ?

Can I make my 2wd courier a 4wd? I have looked and everything looks pretty I identicle

A couple of engine differences but I'm not interested in the bravo engine.

I wanna bolt my engine to the 4wd box then bolt it in my car ?

Would the ecus be different ?

being diesel, shouldnt have an ecu.

is it 2wd, or 2x4?

The courier is 2x4

And the bravo is 4x4 int not constant awd or anything just Low and high range etc

I've been looking at it a lot today only things I can see that may be an issue is the torsion setup on the courie is slightly different but sits in the exact same position on both vehicles .

And the gear box crossmember sits in a different position which is easily over come
