R33 To R34 Interchangeability

Hi people.. Last night i list control if my R34 in the wet, spun it and hit a gutter, snapping the stud axle/knuckle, bending the lca and uca.... Just wanna know if these are the same as r33 items coz i can get parts off a mates r33 and get it fixed this weekend rather than wait for parts. Hooey Sonera if u can help... Thanks Chris

yeah as far as I've seen r3325t & r34gtt use the same suspension, sounds like you have the 33 parts available, give it a go, should be fine,

I've spoken to Jap Heaven, Jdm spares and another Melbourne import guy who all say they are different. But i did have a look at the 33 rear end and it looks very similar

yes. if you look up aftermarket gear you'll notice a lot of them are advertised as fitting both r33 and r34.

have also noticed the same for camber arms etc

i'm pretty sure i've seen they even fit some of the same arms and stuff to s15's? could be wrong.

i'm by no means an expert, but from what i have read, it seems coilovers for R34 GTT will not fit an NA R34. HOWEVER, R33 GTST coilovers will fit NA R34's.

Which then suggests R33 GTST coilovers will NOT then fit R34 GTT's...

R34 gtt has gtr rear hubs (or the bit that the hub bolts to ) , so no other coil over will fit . All of the arms are the same though

I know this is an old thread, but I also want to know if R34 GTT front knuckles will fit in an R33 GTST?
