It's not a sensor, it's just a switch. You'll see it (unless it's fallen off :)) when you pull the console off. There's not much there, it'll be the only thing with a wire going to it, except for the really thick wire that works the hand brake itself. If it's not there, feel around under the carpet between the trans tunnel and the seats, that's where it usually ends up. If it IS there, adjust it until it only lights up after the first click.

If you're REALLY keen I can wander downstairs, pull my console out and take a photo...?

hippy,

I told you what the probable problem was, but Morgs thought I was having a lend of you.

If you had done a search of the forums, you would have discovered dozens of threads covering your very problem, all of which would have pointed to the problem of low brake fluid levels.

PS - it technically is a "Parking Brake", because its the brake you use when you PARK the car.
