*LOACH*
Yeah, but your GTR is useful. I have yet to find a use for a tablet that my desktop or lappy don't do better. Would you buy a Commonwhore if you had an M3 and a 916 in the shed at home? Mayuri Krab
Macs are great for non tehcnical people, much like my phag friends who don't drive manual because it requires too much effort. I don't drive manual but I hate using Mac OS... ctjet
i dont understand either side's argument that hackers will get you i've been on god knows how many sketchy porn sites for the past 15 years, and whatever else i manage to get up to, and i've never had a problem the IT guy at work has checked my laptops for any issues, and he always comes back "no issues, too easy" who are all these people getting fcuked over by the internet all time? Cowboy1600
having a PC , you may as well bender over now as the hackers will f**k you anyway That's the single dumbest f**king thing I've read on the internet and demonstrates that you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about. Be gone sad life if it is.... hahaha you my friend need to get out more. You havent a clue bud. I work in data centres all day, which all run PC based networks, mainly IBM or HP, as with most businesses, they are always under threat. Mate im not here for name callin and disrespecting a brother. Its a simple rule of thumb, that me and the boys have a work. I want to know because we use data centres and virtual servers for our business and I want to know which ones to avoid. Please tell me you don't work for Ninefold? That you are under attack has nothing at all to do with your operating system. There are exploits in all software and people will try and break into anything. You could make wholesale changes to your operating systems tomorrow but the attacks won't stop. There's not a single network on earth immune to threats. "having a PC , you may as well bender over now as the hackers will f**k you anyway" is still one of the silliest things I've read on the internet. badben
WTF, "PC based networks", what do you do at the datacentre? Service the AC? when i say pc based networks,im talking about the generic coding that pc programmes run on un like mac,i work in the NOC room. National Observation Room in a few data centres. Dude, which data centre do you work in? I want to know because we use data centres and virtual servers for our business and I want to know which ones to avoid. Please tell me you don't work for Ninefold? That you are under attack has nothing at all to do with your operating system. Nah mate, its all good, thats why people use data centres they are man'ed 24/7, with people and programmes to stop unwanted s**t in the system. You can't get better security. And with the comment "having a PC , you may as well bender over now as the hackers will f**k you anyway" is still one of the silliest things I've read on the internet, like i said earlier its a joke between me and the boys at work. we say in regards to domestic applications, cause all the stories we have told between each other about PC products isnt generally the best when you consider how much time and money people spend on security like norton's or kaspersky only to have there computer affected by some virus or trojan or the like. I just made that comment, for a laugh. You may get someone on here who runs no security on there PC, good on them but they run a very high percentage risk. but you've got some programmers who write code for pc products who then turn hacker or smart evil bastards who go straight into writing code for worns and viruses to attack pc encoded systems. As the majority of the world uses PC and all the business in world run pc. Pc's run on an open system, where macs run on a closed system. The up and down side is, Apple have a monopoly on there products with only a handful of people making programmes for them but pc's its open to anyone, thats how you get all these different brands making software for pc as there is a generic code to start, then a programmer adds his own code to make a programme or for a hacker, adds his own code for a virus. Im not here to defend myself, you either like it or you don't, get on with life. Everyones different, thats whats makes life great! Cowboy1600
OSX is every bit as hackable as PC. In fact, some people will tell you OSX is easier to hack as Apple has not put in 10% of the effort to defending OSX that Windows and 3rd parties have put into Windows defense. Thing is, if I'm going to spend time write code to break into a computer, should I target 15% of the market with little penetration outside the home PC and lower online presence or should I target the other 85% of the market which pretty much saturates home and business alike and has a very strong online presence thanks to it being a far superior gaming platform? I've been running bare for a decade or more and simply have no issues. I have a basic firewall which keeps out outsiders and don't click on links like a f**king spastic. DivHunter
Pc's run on an open system, where macs run on a closed system. Pretty sure Unix, the foundation of everything OS X since forever, is an open system and all OS run on a version of C. Stealing a macs shit is actually pretty easy via a webpage or email. The cost of entering the programming game is virtually 0 no matter the platform you choose and you don't have to be smart to make damaging software. You seem to be stuck, like a lot of people, in the pre-2005 Apple era where at least you could say they ran on the PowerPC platform and it was every so slightly harder to program for.
