On this topic, what's the name of the big Toyo distributor in Sydney? I remember speaking to a guy who bought some and told me that Toyo Trampio's are extra cheap in a certain size (was either 15X7 or 16X7) cause they are the control tyre for the mirage cup or daewoo cup or similar and that this place buys them by the shedload? They're pretty good tyres too.

I would love to know to pls. I used to have a set on the back 225/50/16 but i discovered a bubble on the inside of one, so i will have to ditch that one.

Mirage cup, but it folded last year and they are no longer running Toyos. Probably still heaps of them around for now tho

Yeah, that was the gist of it. Apparently there is a place here in Sydney that imported all these 205X16 (or maybe it was 205X15) trampios, and you can now get 'em pretty cheap. Perfect for my little GTI-R. I just can't for the life of me remember where the hell the place is or the name.

So the question stands, does anyone know the name of the place that imports trampios in Sydney?

Richard, I don't know who the importer was, but the Mirage series organiser was Bill O'Gorman, I'm sure he could tell you who it was [email protected]. When I checked it out I'm pretty sure they moved to Falken in 2003 so ur info may be out of date...
