Does New Turbos = Re-Tune?

running mafs or no? makes a big difference in the 'flexibility' of the tune.

Running MAFS still. I'm guessing since it's had a full tune already, it just needs putting back on the dyno and the map adjusted accordingly to the new turbos

just stay in closed loop until you get a re-tune, and you should be perfectly safe.

Thought id give a final update with my new -5's and the retune. After reading everyone's advice, I babied it to the tuner. Kept revs under 3k.

Being a street car only, I asked for the best low-mid end response with the -5s. Even to sacrifice power. They did their magic, adjusted the cam timing, air:fuel etc.

Ended up with 332 awkw @ 20 psi. Full boost by 4800rpm. Really happy with the result. That is all.

That is exactly the same power, boost and response that Deano1's car ended up with when we tuned it the other week, he has the exact same mods too.

Yea its great. really responsive, and boost comes on hard Plenty enough for a weekend car.
