Transmission Cooling Setup R34

anyone know the optimal operating fluid temp for r34 tiptronic's ?

after mounting a fmic the tranny cooler is now between the a/c and fmic. i figure i have a few choices,

1. remount the stock cooler to the right of the fmic. above/behind the cold out pipe from the fmic

2. add a thermostatic fan to the original tfc (if i can fit it in there)

3. replace the stock tfc with a larger cooler

first choice is 1 atm and 2. and 3. still leave the cooler with hot air blasting straight through from the intercooler

had figured that using a larger tfc would be the safe bet but i've been told that if i cool the transmission fluid below normal op temp the change in viscocity can do more harm than good which makes sense.

any advice from people who have any experience with this would be helpful
