WRX club are at PI, 21 July. John mentioned Martin will put up the link shortly - you could also look on their website.

AROCA will be at Broadford on 22 July

Not really seen Broadford mentioned much, is it very rare for a car club to get a day there?

Yes, very. It's a bike track. Porsche and ATC have been their previously, iirc Maserati were there this year as well.

It's similar to Haunted Hills in it's size, longer a little maybe.

re the PI WRX round in JULY.

kinda weird entries were up.

then they brought the online entries down.

then they announced they are doing the winton round anyhow a week or so ago.

but it paper entries only for it.

so right now the entries are not open for the July round, once they work out WTF they doing then I will post it up.

oh and winton have the day listed as vacant on their calendar..

thanks for the confirmation. i'd been hunting around for some info and found nothing

Broadford rarely runs with car clubs as CAMS has imposed a 4 car limit for track density - so it's pretty hard to run a track even there.

It's not really wide enough to fit 2 cars across so would actually suit 1-2 cars best. It's quite a hard little track though and has no real margins for error.

Not been with AROCA yet, what's the deal with numbers for PI. Must supply your own stick on numbers, does this just mean no A4 sheet of paper on the inside of window but presume A4 sheet with clear contact on outside is okay?

---- Display 230mm high numbers(s), both sides of your car. You need to use stick-on numbers so that your number is clearly visible. ----

Alfa sell them.

They don't supply print outs. Generally, they don't like tap either. So I'd be printing your own....

Neil sends out your number the week before.

Doh, I was already there with Clive: gaffer tape with 1970s casio calculator font - straight lines for you young ones!

I seem to recall they are $1 per number. Not expensive and supports the club a little bit maybe.

A bag taped to the side will end up somewhere on the track IMO.
