Thanks guys. I think I'm just about at the point in my life where I want to move out more than I want a fast car. I'll definitely be back in the future though ;)

I'll still be checking in here regularly and hang around, have made some good friends.

Hoping it holds off until this Christmas cruise Jez was talking about, so better get crackin' Jez! :P

Mine might be even harder to sell them yours Rob because of the mods.. We'll see :(

I have owned this R32 since Dec 6, 2006. When I bought it, all it had an HKS
exhaust, HKS pod filter and unknown brand intercooler.
Since purchase, after two different turbo setups, I have spent about $40k on it, all
parts genuine.
I would really like to keep it, but with 1 new baby and plans for another in the
future, I would like to get something a bit more standard and easier to store down my
driveway.
The engine conversion was engineered. car recently tuned by ESP to 280KW at rears.
The car still needs some work. The paint is very rough; the Final Konnexion Body
Kit is second hand and not yet fitted. Due to the car sitting for a 3 year period during
turbo/ intake manifold change. The engine has been found to have pretty poor
compression (showed up after tuning).
Car still runs and drives fine apart from compression issue ($1000-1500 for
Replacement engine)

The pics are just ones that I had on my computer, can take new ones if people want

Yep, I know.

just to clarify, I really don't mind if I just end up keeping it, I know the range im looking at is high, I don't have unrealistic expectations that everyone will jump in with a high offer.

Its just an EOI, and that is the range at which I would consider selling. before more people jump in and tell me I'm dreaming haha

    • Sadly I can confirm if you are actually seeking to drift, you will quite easily spin up one wheel. Even if you're going in a straight line. I am not entirely sure of the metrics/terminology here but there's only a certain amount that the helical will actually spin both wheels. I've seen it on video with my own car where two lines of smoke switch over to just one after you really get in to it. Unlike with a clutch diff where you can keep your foot planted until the car regains grip, in my experience with the helical you want to be utilizing traction control allowing LIMITED slip or lifting (partially) when you start to spin up both tyres with a Nissan helical. Which makes them pretty sub optimal for drifting duty. That said... this is probably a helical on numbers alone. Just put the Kazz in
    • Let's just fix the problem by f**king the rest of the gearbox.
    • Unlikely, as per Greg's post. This is not helical diff behaviour unless one wheel is up off the ground. Shimming what? You don't "shim" a mechanical LSD. Probably not in the sense that you have heard of people "shimming" a diff. And the process that Nissan f**kwits call "shimming" a diff involves super-preloading a VLSD cartridge against the side of the diff to create a friction/wear point (in a place that it wasn't supposed to have one) to make the sloppy, useless, viscous diff into a hybrid viscous/mech abortion. In case it isn't clear, I consider the process to be stupid. Nike.
