R33 Gtr Apexi D-Jetro In R33 Gtst

HI fellow members as you red in my topic title i have a r33 gtr apexi D jetro that i want to put in my r33 gtst mspec model

Reasons are built engine with big turbo so i want to run a map sensor set up and also being plug in ECU too

I dont want to go to a different ECU type eg haltech etc etc

My questions are has anyone had it done on their cars and what is involved differences etc etc.

I am interested in the ignition side of things, Intake air temp sensor, oxygen sensor etc and a few other things that differ rb26 to 25

It can be done. You wont have VCT control and will need something external for that.

thanks for that that link is helpfull, yeah i am thinking of getting a MSD rpm window switch so i still keep my VCT but i ll still see what am going to do

ill have to call few workshops around and see what they actually think.

My other option is just to get a haltech pro that just plugs in.

Haltech plug in or link plug in will be perfect for what u want. Get the boost control kit also will save buying another boost controller and the ecu can control boost.

yeah i think i will be heading towards haltech plug in pro but i still will have to get external map sensor as the ecus internal one is only 1.5 bar as i want to run about 24-27 psi of boost

Thats fine. They arent too expensive to upgrade the map sensor

i would go the link between the two but speak to whoever is going to tune it as its only ever going to be as good as the tuner tuning it.

thanks guys for all the inputs, i have made my decision, spoke to few workshops around here in adel. so instead of swapping wires over and mucking around with the wiring i got myself a haltech platinum plug in pro, booked in for a tune next monday so ill see how it all goes hoping for mid 300s
