g'day

iv got a t66 with a 1.07 front and 1.0 rear housing on a 6boost manifold that im planning on putting on a standard 25 with a greddy plenum and 600cc injectors. how much power should i expect out of the setup? how much boost should it safely handle and will it be very lagy?

cheers

Unless its a chinese knock off, which often do not follow any real naming conventions (ie, T70s with 61mm compressor inducers) the T-series use compressor inducer size in mm as an identified, ie - T61 = 61mm inducer, T66 = 66, and so on. It'd most likely be a Garrett or Turbonetics (who have been price cutting lately, they'd only be able to sell behind the times turbos for a premium for so long) turbo.

The short of it, it will be big old school truck spec wheels rated to in the area of 700hp and likely to have plain bearings. T67s are the ones which coincide with GReddy naming, the Garrett T67 (aka T04R) are a pretty big stick compared to the GReddy T67.

and not to mention if everything else isn't up to scratch it will affect the power output greatly, eg air leaks, exhaust, tuner, slipping clutch/trans.

Cheap and big power don't go together, I'd sell the turbo and by something more sensible especially if it is a street car, it won't even feel fast on the street, just lag lag lag lag lag boost limiter.
