so i have been discussing this issue with friends and have gone out of my way to ask a few mechanis as well. i have been told the n1 pump break once you push them to 450 kws at the rears or more on a gtr.. now just want to get a few more answers on this issue.

do they break at 450 kw at the rear or at all four?

do they brake at a much lower power range?

and what the most you could push an n1 oil pump to?

thanks guys much appreciated!!

^ Yep. Because GTRs are not 4WD. They are RWD until ATTESA decides otherwise - and even then, it does not become a 50/50 split like a 4WD car (EVO/STI).

So most certainly not the same. Do some reading on ATTESA on this forum and become enlightened

To the OP - N1 pumps, and any pump for that matter - can break @ 350rwkw if not treated correctly.

There is no set "figure" or power range. It's like asking how many people does it take to eat an apple - the question has no valid answer.

Closing as a result given such a question only ends in heresay.
