Turbo Leak Blown Turbo? Rb25

Hi there I have a r33 skyline with rb25det running stock turbo with 160000kms. And I suddenly relised im getting no boost past vaccum what so ever goes up to 0 but no further? It also revs funny when turbo is meant to kick in and theres a strange smell? anyone able to help? Thanks

Take the dump pipe off and see if there is still a turbine wheel

Yeah just found out its deffinitly the turbo just not sure whats wrong with it yet .

How do high flowed stock turbos go with stock intercooler etc?

When the turbine wheels snaps the turbine pretty much stops spinning. and you will no longer get the turbo suction noise either. Pretty common issue for skylines. If you run high flowed turbo with stock boost it will be fine. how ever recommend to upgrade cooler exhaust and get a ecu remap to get the full potential from the high flow.

But having said that check to see if any cooler pipe's popped or any thing happened in that manner first.

Even if the clutch was slipping, the turbo still would of produced boost if u were to rev it out of gear. As for the smell. when i give mine a bit of a hard time the exhaust smells like rotton eggs lol anyone else had this ?
