Getting Licence Exemption In Queensland.

My 19yo needs to get an exemption so he can drive the RS4.

Has anyone applied for and got one?

We have been asked to supply a "document published by the vehicles manufacturer showing the Stagea's kerb weight and maximum engine power. For example, an owners manual, a letter on a Nissan letterhead, or information from Nissan's website"

All I know is what is on wiki. 172kw, 1620 kg.

Are details available, in English or Japanese, to satisfy the DoT.?

The main issues are. Whose car is it? is there any other vehicle available to him? What happened to his original car?

My neice drives my rs4s and her dads r33 regularly and hasn't had any problems and she doesn't have an exemption. As long as he is responsible I would suggest just drive it without the exemption, I'm assuming it's only as a short term thing.

Hi Hugh - i have emailed you the relevant pages from the Stagea workshop service manual. If the quality is not good enough I can post you the pages as well.

Just to let you all know, DoT took the Wiki info as sufficient and granted the exemption.
