Hey Guys.

I created an old thread before when i was interested in seeing what people thought of my R32 GTS-T (Located here: http://www.skylinesa...s-my-r32-worth/ )

Well I have just bought a new car (An R33 actually) and have recently put my car on carsales (Located here: http://www.carsales....e-1993-12660642). My carsales images are very similar to the previous images on my old thread as I have done only simple modifications recently.

I thought I would make a new post to create interest in the car again, and hopefully one of you guys might be interested in my R32 (or know someone who might be).

Overall, my original post explained in great detail about my car but I have modified some things since that was written so I have created an update below which contains a brief summary of my car:

Summary info

Nissan Skyline R32

5 speed Manual

Gun Metal Gray

Turbo

2 door Coupe

136,000km Engine

1 Months rego

Exterior:

Overall I wanted the car to look stock, but also improve the look of it, as having orange indicators and such looked really dated. It’s a subtle adjustment but I think it balances the look of stock pretty well

  • 60th Anniversary GTS-T Type M Body kit (Front Bar + Chrome Lip, Side Skirts, Rear Pods)
  • Replaced indicators on the front 1/4 panels (side indicators) and the front indicators (next to the headlights) They both have clear plastic now
  • Complete left hand side re-spray, from front 1/4 to rear 1/4 (some dickhead keyed down the side of it, thankfully though that side was the older looking side lol)
  • Added a set of R33 wheels in great condition (plenty of rubber still). However car will also come with R32 standard wheels
  • Added rear chrome 'Nissan' and 'GTS-T' badges
  • Added Side and front GTS-T Red badges (replaced old ones)

Interior:

Overall interior is one of the cars best features, I have gone out of my way to ensure that the car looks as stock as possible but also improving on some standard elements. I don’t think I have seen a GTS-T in as great a condition as mine.

  • 60th Anniversary GTS-T Type M Interior, Gray Velour front / rear seats and door inserts
  • Immaculate condition interior, every panel has been replaced with ones that are perfect (i.e. door trims have no cuts / knocks and the material is glued in firm) The only exception is the passenger rear interior 1/4 panel which has a 3cm bubble forming
  • New Standard Instruments - Gear knob, Steering Wheel, Handbrake, All are in amazing condition with the wheel only having 3 tiny scratches on it, and the handbrake one small scratch)
  • Dash Cluster Surround (That holds Emergency, Fog Lights, and Radio etc) is brand new, with every button on it in perfect shape, also brand new indicator controls. Every instrument has its original white lettering still intact
  • Stock R32 floor mats
  • Standard perfect dash, no bubbles like other R32's, no silly shit like holes cut into it to mount instruments etc.
  • New aircon vents (strong and sturdy and all intact)
  • All miscellaneous plastics have been added (small stuff like covers for the seatbelt bolts that go into the side of the car, and small plastic covers for the back of the seats)
  • Back seats are flawless, same as passenger seat, the driver’s seat material is fine, no tears, but I can feel the padding inside getting old
  • Replaced Handbrake, Gear knob & Arm Rest covers with black leather. All pieces are custom made and fit 100% (the gear knob leather fits directly into the original surround and sits flush against the stick)
  • Replaced all lights with LEDs (Interior dome light, twin small reading lights at the front, glove box light, All rear lights including brakes, reversing lights, front headlights, front fog lights, Dash Cluster, Aircon Unit, Dash Surround, ashtray etc)

Mechanicals:

Overall, I didn't care much about power, I wanted it reliable and as near stock as possible. As such there have only been a few modification using aftermarket parts, however I have replaced a good amount of the standard parts during my servicing

  • Replaced standard suspension with APEXI fully adjustable Coilovers
  • Added Front Strut brace (Removed in images)
  • replaced after-market pod filter with the standard air-box (Removed in images)
  • Big service recently. Replaced Fan belt, Aircon belt, all spark plugs, all fluids flushed or replenished (radiator fluid, engine oil), topped up manual gearbox etc
  • Replaced Individual Coil packs (6), replaced Igniter, Replaced Air Flow meter, Replaced Coil Pack Wiring Loom
  • Replaced front rotors
  • The car has an entire GTR backend (As such the previous owner added it, and it actually runs on GTR suspension not GTS-T. it has upgraded rotors for the rear)
  • Stock Turbo, Intercooler and piping
  • Gearbox and Engine overall are great. I have no issues using it as a daily drive, but I don’t thrash my cars so I have no clue how great it will go on power tuning (however I did get it on the Dyno when I tuned the car)

Things I don’t like

Overall there is very little I don’t like about the car, but I am just exhausted from changing all of the small things. I have spent easily over 8k on parts, mechanical servicing and upgrades. I have a massive collection of receipts that I will be happy to pass along to the next person who buys it for their records.

I am too much of a perfectionist and it will take even more of my life and money to get it into showroom condition, and with my new car I just have lost interest. It’s easier to do up an R33 than an R32 in regards to parts so I am focusing on that now

  • Two of the LED's in the dash are starting to die, will replace replacement ones
  • The roof on the passenger side is starting to lose its clear coat. It about a coffee cup in size, it looks like someone when painting the car has left a coffee cup on the roof and forgot about it.
  • small scratches on the side skirts and rear bumper, with some decent ones on the front lower lip
  • inside of the boot has a small amount of rust, it’s nothing serious but just worth a mention.
  • passenger side door hinge is slowly lower than the right side (closes fine, but if you lightly close it has issues closing)

Price

I have the car listed on Carsales for $9,000, however that will include another 6 months of rego, as currently the rego expires in June. I think that is a pretty fair price given all of the work that has gone into the car (and also comparing against other cars on carsales) and how much work it needs (pretty much nothing)

I'm not interested in swaps, or in taking really silly offers. Honestly, I would rather burn my car then see someone buy it for $6,000 when it has more than double that spent on it over the last year.

I am interested in hearing some offers and happy for people to come and take a look (yea no test pilots please) as I am sure this is one of the neatest R32's you will find :P

Regards
