Thought I'd Share A Great Experience Using Micolour!

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I just thought I'd share my awesome experience with Michael / MiColour after a terrible 4 months dealing with my insurance company.

Basically, I got hit with the Xmas day hail on my R33. After making a claim with my insurer, inspection after inspection, I was getting nowhere. Michael went in to bat for me and after 4 long, painful months (where I got to the point that I was over the car and my insurance company) Michael got the final insurance inspection done and my car was approved for repair.

So after a few weeks, the car was ready. Pulling into MiColour, I was blown away!!! Closer inspection revealed the paint was unbelievably perfect! All the dings from the hail gone! The colour is awesome just how Nissan intended it to be. I also had Michael fix the front bar and it looks fantastic. Michael even fixed some damage that must have been done when the car was in Japan and re-aligned my boot!

If you need some paint work done, MiColour should be at the top of your list. Most body shops want your car in and out, at the expense of workmanship. But Michael has pride in the work he does. I can't express how happy I am and have a reinvigorated passion for my car!

After a disastrous 4 months, all is now great! I will post some pics up in the next day or so.

Shop details are in my sig...

good to hear and well done

how bad was the hail damage?

how much was the car insured for and what was the repair bill???

my 97 gtst was insured for 12k and just cars didnt even bother getting a quote for my car - total loss declared within 5 minutes of looking at it

Ha! I was in there last week and this weekend ( I had a small love tap 2 weeks ago on punt road) now that I am with Shannons they just asked where do you want to take it. said Micolour straight away.

I'm guessing yours was the black one? I saw the bonnet and I said to michael I couldn't believe it had hail damage on it!

He truely is a top bloke, always putting clients first. I dropped my car off there on Saturday for an assesment today -already been done and he is currently working on it, hopefully have it back on Wednesday night. Crazy good service.

Good stuff mate, I'm sure i'll be as happy as you.

When I get it back I was going to ask if I could have a checky peek at ur 31 Ash :)

Mick is a champion. Cast your eye on my now white 32 shell while your down there Adam if you haven't been already - I get goosebumps thinking about it.

Other panel shops might assure you this and that will be done properly but don't always come through with the goods. You know you can trust Mick will deliver on his promise and he's a good bloke to boot. Couldn't count the hours he has spent taking me through all the work he has done on my thing.

Finally took a couple of pics...

The roof and bonnet had some major dings... The front bar was pretty much hacked for the IC and had plenty of driveway damage...

When the weather clears up, i'll try and take some more shots...

Wow, nice result! Certainly reasssuring given that I'm getting Mick to fix some minor damage on our Subaru (no sn1ggering up the back). If all goes well he'll most likely be painting the Skyline too, if it turns out as well as yours I'll be stoked! :)
