Hi all

So a couple weeks ago I put a set of 6" 3way kenwood in the back.

Now they don't have the little amount of bass that in after. So I endavored out and got some 6x9's. Yes yes I know get a sub if you want bass, but I don't want a sub. The boot is already small haha.

So to the point.

Any tips on how to install them without cutting the parcel shelf? Should I pull my finger out and make a new parcel shelf out of mdf?

This seems to be the general consensus. But I'm lazy and it will require me asking my mate to borrow his work bench haha.

Cheers

You can get them ugly high speaker grill mounting parts for them , OR if i were me, id get a mdf board like yu said and just build the speaker areas higher then fabricate the entire lot and pop the speakers in, that would look excellent.

good luck, pics when done whatever you choose to do yeah?

Spewing I didn't take photos.

Sorry.

But, to fit them is a piece of piss. Get some 20mm spacers. Line up some holes, drill em and then place them in.

They don't fit in a east west orientation more of a south west and south east orientation. \\_______//

Parcel shelf goes over the top no probs, everything is nice and tight and they sound boss!
