Need Help - Electrical

hey guys

tonight my siren for my alarm system was playing up.

it was freely going off on armed and disarmed could start car put in gear everything and the siren still went of.

seemed to be a loose conection in the siren as when it was touched it would temorarily turn itself off.

however it did get quiet warm and then i smelt something smoking...

i looked inside my car and smoke was coming out of the dash went inside my car and there was smoke and a small flame behind the ignition barrel.

was put out fairly quikly it is dark so cant have a full investigation in there but i have removed the lower plastic pannels and ignition dash panels.

now ill need an auto electritian to look at it and make sure nothing is effected before i reconect the battery and start the car again. does anyone have any ideas on who could come out to my place and look at this issue for me.

All good guys I found an auto elec place

They had a look the wire running to the Siren the way it was fitted it was resting on the exhaust so had melted through causing a short

They are running tests now to make sure the Alarm itself is working ok
