Dodgey Fuse/sunroof Not Working

Hi,

My sunroof stopped working the other week(no power) so was looking for fuses, And come across this dodgey looking sucker.

Goes into the blower motor fuse, Any ideas whats going on here will be very helpful.

or anyone with webasto sunroof can tell me where the fuses and stuff would be.

That is a classic example of bad installation

Take to auto electrical unless your so inclined to trace it back ?

That is a fuse tap gone wrong( there always wrong but dodgy shops do it still )

they can stretch the metal tabs so the fuse is loose and the curcuit fails

start with figure out what that goes too ? Then rip out and do it right

Then trace sunroof issues

I think it has somthing to do with the sunroof. From what I can see Red/black wire runs down drivers a pillar to like a double fuse/relay thingy from there goes two ways 1 goes to the dodgy fuse, the other is the red wire with the connection thing on it in the photo.

Any Ideas

ahh ok then that unit will need a IGN feed and a B+ feed to operate. find both and rewire accordingly.

Thanks chris, Is this a simple process for a novice or will I stuff things up.

Would the dodgey fuse now go to IGN feed, And the other red wire go to B+ feed (Does it have to go direct to battery, or is there somthing i can splice into under dash). Would there be a ground for it to?

should be a gnd , b+ , ign. as to how it is wired in the car. can't help there.
