Ok, are those times based on peak hour or normal traffic, does trip planner allow for red lights..??

I find 59 mins very hard to believe seeing as I do Thomastown to Frankston in an hour in normal traffic

I dont know, but in normal traffic I reckon I would do it quicker on the ring road than you would your way..especially to King and Collins..peak hour could be a different matter though.

In your position I would go your way too , you save on tolls and freeway traffic is very unpredictable...

Its full business attire.

If I can get onto the Monash its literally just off the Toorak Rd exit, so if I can find a place close to the Monash entry heading outbound to Toorak Rd I might be okay driving. Otherwise I think you're right, trains and trams it is for me.

I might actually head up there one day during peak out and make the trip on public transport from say Carlton to see how painful it is and how long it takes. Actually no, that's a lie. I couldn't be effed doing that lol.

There's no friggin' way in hell I'd contemplate driving when I could jump a train/tram or bus and be there in 30 minutes.

Carlton (Elgin/Lygon) to The Coles building (near Tooronga Station) on Toorak Rd is 35 minutes by Public Transport. You'd struggle to drive that in twice the time.

Public transport all the way.

30 minutes from crn of Elgin and Lygon to Coles on Toorak Rd in peak hour?

Only on a builders RDO and if you get really lucky. I'd say more like 40-45 on average and if shit happens somewhere along the route more like an hour.

But either way, I'd rather spend 35 minutes vegging out on my Xoom on public transport than 35 minutes battling peak hour traffic. It would also work out far cheaper. It's all zone 1 so that's not even $7 a day.

Yep, I do Hurstbridge to Collins St (business end) in ~45 mins.

Yeah I could do it in peak hour as well..afternoon for sure, not certain about morning cause m never around there that early, and yeah its dependant on tunnel traffic which isn't very dependable.. I'm getting paid to do it though ;)

But yeah 45 on a treadly is wow, u bike guys get around..

    • Yeah I'm happy to talk to whoever, I don't want to take ownership or even manage it if they don't want but I can probably help with hosting on the sau setup. It's a great resource and should be protected.
    • So, got some bits..   New oil filter housing gasket (main problem I'm trying to fix -see leak above)  While you're in there's: New belts, pulley and tensioners.  Vanos oil line New oil drain valve New water pump and pulley  New fumoto valve (all my cars have these). Some of this stuff seems ok now that I've pulled it out but I still have no idea how old it all is.  The belts looked fine and then I noticed this. Like somebody has hooked it with a pick.
    • As the title suggests, Looking for some comfortable replacement seats that will suit/fit an R32 GTR. Purely road use.  Happy to travel to the Tweed, Gold Coast and Brisbane area. Possibly Sunshine Coast for the right seats. Show me what you got! Thanks in advance.
    • Customer states,I got an oil leak.  Customer was raht.
    • Hi friends, I recently got myself back into an R32 GTR with factory seats. The seats themselves are in excellent condition but the drivers seat is a bit tight for my back and become uncomfortable after about 20min of driving. The passenger seat is a little better so I'm not sure what is going on there, almost as if the drivers seat is newer and has not been worn in.  Anyway, I'm looking to replace them with something thats going to be comfortable for road use.  I was looking at these replica seats from Crank Motorsport however there has been a number of reviews of the company that aren't great so i'm a little skeptical.  https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/185466689021?_skw=r32+GTR+front+seats&itmmeta=01JKS72VG115M2Y3KBGCBCWYDD&hash=item2b2ead15fd:g:cMAAAOSwhhZlsIpK&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA8HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKl6v17FmqPFPHrHp4kFm2I9VMAXrpZg5R8sUXH6QLUAkliQu34NiG%2F84PJ05lKf2iGboUiWpWbvHYPYKsT154rul3I%2FaGRskpG8VfgyrwC9%2BdRj7uoDAPGJH%2FVprfvd6pgAN2XmUz6buE9YHvOPCKhtJfsQXhEzwgmVTcIwEkkV0A1r%2FkyJYMmQK0OKLI%2FrM%2FQLzeAOkN9B6WLAPrNyFlml%2FkG%2BYzkTXGJ8LN%2B0NCSLfczQGSYeJqPfvMFMgDL2gOD%2BPWb3sX1D1A6PxY5jqyMGey7zin4sDqrUrA7CpqLLpA%3D%3D|tkp%3ABFBMmriLp55l I also live In the Northern Rivers and these seats are in Melbourne so I can't even try them out before purchase.  Is there anywhere/anyone around the Gold Coast, Tweed or Brisbane area that would have a decent selection of seats I could test out before purchase. A lot of these places seem to be in Sydney and Brisbane. Maybe there's an individual who has an after market item such as Bride or Recaro I could quickly try? Thanks in advance!
