Checking A Motor To See If Its Stolen

ive bought an rb25det to drop into my r32, im doing some work on it and it struck me i wonder if theres a way i can check if the motor is legit before i go to far, i know you can do revs checks on cars and engines together but is there a number or website to check just the motor?

If you obtained the engine from a wrecker, you should have its # on the sales receipt so that your replacement registration certificate has the correct engine#
