PLEASE! make sure you follow these simple guidelines before posting a new event in this section.

1. Put a CLEAR date and time in the thread title (e.g. 14th May 2004 8:30AM)

2. Put a CLEAR description of the event in the thread title and if possible, a location (e.g. Motoconcepts Trackday: Eastern Creek)

Don't worry about location if it'll make the thread title too big

3. In the post make sure you have a clear and consise desciption of the event, meeting time, meeting place, date, any requirements and contact details for event organiser.

With the recent plethora of new cruise threads I think it's time to lay some ground rules.

1. Anyone can make a cruise thread.

2. Only the Executives of the Club can make "Official" cruises.

3. Thread title should have the cruise destination or a very brief description, eg 'Sydney Homebush to Palm Beach Cruise'

4. Subtitle of the thread should have the date.

5. If you are just throwing around ideas for a cruise but haven't decided on the details yet then start the thread in the general NSW section, not the Events section. Once you have the details sorted you can start a proper thread in here.

6. Cruises organised through SAU are expected to be attended by people behaving in an appropriate and lawful manner. The good reputation of the vast majority of SAUers and by association SAU itself will be tarnished by people misbehaving. SAU people distinguish themselves from "hoons" and general f**kwits by driving properly and lawfully. People who bring this reputation into question will be disiplined and possibly banned from the forum.

Thanks for reading. Now go out there and have some fun. :P
