Ah cool, is the installation hard, to install the tranny cooler?

Just buy a Davies Craig unit off Ebay or from your local auto shop. The standard hoses are a tad short, but the Davies Craig coolers come with some hoses anyhow. The most time consuming thing of the the whole trans cooler install is removing and reinstalling the front bar and its 1,000 bolts!

I would steer clear of 'customer' additives for any oil.. gear oil, engine oil, transmission fluid, etc.. Stick with a good quality oil on it's own.

The fact nulon promote these things is the main reason I don't trust their oils.

Out of my own morbid curiosity, which oil do you use that does not have an additive package?

Nulone engine oils are shite and I know not of their manual trans gear oils (use Redline)... but their 100% SATF is pretty impressive.

all oils contain manufacturer additives, and they spend plenty of $$ to get them right.

I have an issue with 'over the counter' additives which you 'add' to existing oil. (I called them 'customer' additives in my previous post). with claims they can magically make the oil better than the manufacturer could..

Also, not saying the Nulon gear oils aren't good.. just that I don't trust Nulon due to some of the claims they have made

I use nulon 75W-85 smooth shift fully syn in all things Nissan and never had a complaint, auto's can be a little more touchy.

I use all nulon oils in my 370GT and it's perfect.

I think all this "use OEM oils only" is all hype.

All oil companies will say in there lube referance guides if oem fluids should be used, that is what i use as a guide. I serviced a Honda the other day and the nulon lube guide didn't list a diff oil it said to use OEM so I went to the dealer.
