R33 Rb25 Head Solid Lifters And R34 Rb25Neo Cams

Just got a question if have R33 RB25head with solid lifters and R34 RB25 neo cams will VCT work ??

Wouldn't buying the Neo head be easier and cheaper ? Dunno about Cas drive .

I'd just live with the valve train you have in that case .

Wanta rev it to 8000 I just found out a guy I'm talking to on here is runnin 8500 with a R33head

8000 isnt the limitation on hydraulic lifters...

Your manifolding, camshaft choice and turbo choice will help determine what revs you end up taking it too. I will be suprised with the turbo you said you have or are using you will need to take it much past 7000-7500rpm. No reason to keep on revving if you've past peak power. But I guess you will find it all out for certain on the dyno.

I guess it would depend how aggressive your cam is, how strong your springs are, maybe the oil? And how long you want it to last..

Maybe someone can confirm the limit and why?

You wont need to go past 8500rpm anyway, so it doesnt really matter.
