Hey guys,

Quick question. I am building the DR for circuit racing (on a budget) so I'll be running the car with a standard engine for the moment. The car will not be registered.

There is a hell of a lot of pollution gear under the bonnet and back in the day on a carboy car you could just disconnect it all and plug up all the air leaks and she'd run fine. What I want to know is if I do this with the FJ will it still run okay? If not are there any tricks (other than going to an aftermarket computer)?

Help definitely appreciated.

Cheers

Ur on the right track bin it all. If its bone stock itl have a boost valve on the r/h side of the inlet blok it off or put a blow of valve there. And adjacent to that there be a similar valve with vacum lines going to it. Piss that off asweel make a plate to block it. Basicaly strip all the gear off the inlet mani so u pretty much only have injectors there
