Rb26 Sump Choices ?

Guys in a predigiment at the moment i got a tomei oil pump for my gtr.... Problem is that led to sump extension because the std sump apparently is not enough!

So the question is,

Trust 1.5ltr extension is it enough for the tomei pump or do i need bigger eg hi octane..?

Depends on what you want to do with your car, street, track etc. And eng oil return mods undertaken.

Street, 1.5 extra should be fine.

Track, oil control becomes really important, as per sydneykids thread on RB oil control.

I got 1.1mm restrictor spool head oil drain aswell i will be using for street and plan to track it

If you plan to track it then get a decent extension that's going to hold around the 9L mark.

It's been proven time and time again to work with nitto/jun/etc pumps.

Have a look in the fabrication section, I offer a fabricated 9L sump ready to go with gated baffles for a fair wack cheaper than buying one then having it welded on.
