What are your opinions? I will mainly be using my S15 for the street, but will take it to the occaisonal track day. Want the suspension to be good handling but not to harsh to the point its uncomfortable and I get bump steer etc.

I had a set of HSD HR on the s13 with 6kg/4kg and they felt pretty good.

I am still unsure of the exact specifications of silkroads (e.g piston size, free length etc) but unsure if theyre more suited to a track application

Here are the specs of HKS

Let me know what you think please

thanks.

I've had HKS coilovers before and my experience was that they were way to harsh for our streets. Actually made it worse to drive day to day.

Depends on the model though, I used to have the Hiper D's (original hipermax not drift) with 10/8 & really wasn't very streetable. Changed to hipermax 2's with 7/6 & was a massive improvement.

No input on the silkroads sorry.

I got the HKS Hipermax III with 9kg on both front and rear. It's perfect for the street! For the track... we'll have to wait and see.

Ok good to hear....on the street does it feel nice, stable and firm?

Let me know how it feels when you take it to the track...
