no point getting the speedo fixed as 1: i wont sell the car with big wheels, and 2: its keeping my odometer reading down ;)

and yes i agree a gps with distance tracking will be the most accurate (not including hills)

Auto here and I'm averaging about 400km per tank with 20" wheels, before I think it was 500km per tank with 18" wheels. Driving is short and mostly on arterial roads with minimal traffic lights. After installing some mods, I hope the tune will improve the consumption some what, if any...

To be honest, I like the km/l better than l/100km. But been in Australia, we tend to over complicate things when it shouldn't be...

Remember the V35 has problems with the Fuel tank level sensor. It can give false readings.

Make sure when you fill up your tank check and make sure the needle says it's just over the full mark.

There seems to be too many ways of measuring fuel economy.. UK and USA use MPG, but a gallon is a different amount in UK and USA. Most of Asia use km/L (thus the JDM cars show this). Europe, Canada and Aust (and NZ) use L/100km.. or you can use the Norway/Sweden figure of L/mil (a mil being approx 10km)

Imperial units should be abolished, it makes no sense and the SI (standard international) or metric units are better, especially for unit conversion. But hey it might make sense for them...?

Agreed.. UK should ditch imperial, especially since the rest of europe use metric. I can't imagine the USA ever admitting that their system is inferior (even if it is), so they will probably never change.. I am glad Canada didn't blindly follow the USA though!

Tyre size measurements still amuse me.. width measured in mm, rim size measured in inches, and sidewall heigh measuered as a percentage of width.. who came up with that system????

My Stagea averages 9.2km/l around adelaide city traffic; approx 30km trip to work. Thats mostly 60km/h stuff and much stop-start as well. Thought I would throw it into the mix seeing they have the same motors, and my wagon would prob be slightly heavier as well.

So yes yours is a bit high, more so for highway driving.

I thought they were all 80L?

I have put 74L in my sedan once.

Although the light does come on early. If I fill up as soon as the light comes on, I can only put about 60-63L in.
