Coil Cover Qu?

yes a stupid question but i need to ask.

My coil cover isnt ont my car and has been sitting in the garage for years , but all the foam/rubber had deteriated around the edge so I have just bought some rubber and stuck it on but was wondering do you have to take the intake to the throttle body off to fit it as I have never put one on or off for that matter?\

hopefully just slide it through

It's a major PITA to try to slide it. Too many lumps and bumps and potential to scratch it.

Overall, it is less hassle to just take off the crossover pipe.

I just hacksawed the rear bend of the cover which allowed me to slide the cover in no probles. just had to under 1 end of the breather pipe...

easy as
