i dont know about all that, i can say from personal experience. I ruined by R33 NA by using E10 fuel.

And im sure thats what ruined it and caused problems in the fuel line and overall fuel supply of the car.

what makes you think it is what's ruined it? and what was ruined?

in most cases, having a heap of crap in the fuel filter when you start using e10 is the biggest cause of problems. i've been using e10 for many years and never had a problem. have done about 40,000kms over the past 12 months using it and never had a problem. but that is in a commodore with now over 240,000kms on the clock

I've figured E10 wasn't made for a 95 skyline. The fuel line got clogged up and i went to a lot of mechanics and they all blamed my fuel line which included the pump and piping. I had the car for a year and a half before i started using E10 and it never gave me problems before that.

how long after you started using E10 did it stuff up? and how often do you change your fuel filter? the thing with E10 is that it often breaks down gunk in the filter and it ends up further down the line. so if you have never changed your fuel filter and then start running E10 then you may be asking for trouble.

the other thing is that if the car doesn't get driven much (or at some point in the recent past sat for a while) then you may end up with gunk in the lines. E10 doesn't suddenly make the lines get all gummed up. it is usually that the different properties of the fuel bring to light a problem that was already there.

the E10 is fine, the ethenol in the fuel has a "scouring" effect on any grunge in filters and lines, some fuel hose is not compatable with the fuel and can start to break down from the inside out ^^^ you beat me too it!

What about running this 100 octane in our RB25DET's? Ive wondered about this... i always use it anyway but this week i put in 95 coz it was 1.34 a litre and havent noticed a difference but i was thinking that maybe i'll go through more fuel with that stuff?
