Yah, Fluro is Gaids!!!

But you've made all the right choices so far with the car so I'm looking forward to seeing what you choose ;)

Cheers mate, pressure is on now!!!

either way, if i make a fail choice, no one will know about it hahaha

yeha - apparently been bullying him

Silly kids these days!! At least he is in here trolling and not our stabbing old ladies like the other degenerates these days...

How's your car going anyway man?

true dat..

I even took the effort to draw the prettiest penis using text in one of his threads, only for it all the fark up cause i was on my phone.

Pauls been sick, so not alot of progress on the car. The engine block is back at the machine shop cause it was underbored :domokun:..really only waiting on that before assembly . Good news is i picked the gearbox up last week and it looks smik...bad news was terry couldn't find anything wrong with the transfer clutch plates, so the issue with my 4wd is something else..i've got spares for all the attesa system, so i should sort it out eventually.

Nah not many pics of the build- i'm only in newe 3 days a fortnight and other people are doing most of the work, so its a little difficult to capture everything - hence no build thread. I've put a lot of things i wanted done back to next year aswell, so it's virtually engine and running gear this year, costmetics and refurb next year.

Currently no 4wd - was told it was most likely the transfer plates or hydraulic pump - assumed it was the plates as from what i could find, pump failure isn't very common in 34's. I didn't really investigate it that much to be honest, but as a bearing had gone in the gearbox, it made sense to do the transfer case at the same time and rule that out. I'll replace the pump with the spare i have next time i'm home and see if that makes a difference when it's running again.

.

Starts at 9am..... f**k

you've got a lovely trip through peak hour then lol

4WD drifts = Winning! I assume you've removed the boot carpet for this?

Of course...Actually before i took it off the road id also removed the parcell shelf, the spare and all the tools...went so much faster lol

I bet it come onto boost a few hundred RPM earlier?

Oh oh, Anthony - we have another bright ass car coming soon! My neighbour Jack has gone down to pick up an old R32 but they are respraying it today.... We said to do it white but last text he said its the new Falcon Green so if he isnt full of sh*t we will have another fluro beast in the crew

    • Being the top Google search result for R34 wheel-related inquiries, lemme throw down my experience. I calculated that 100mm from hub face to wheel face is about the perfect fitment for my ENR34 sedan.  I've been running 18x8.5s, ET35, with a 1" spacer. So, 8.5in to mm = 216mm. 216/2 = 108mm. 108-35 = 73mm. 73+ 25 (1" to mm) = 98mm.  If you wanna get close to this on dif widths, here are the offsets you'll want: 9" - ET around 15mm 9.5" - ET around 20mm 10" - you're crazy, but ET around 30mm All these should fit perfectly on a non-widebody, non-GTR Skyline. Note that it's probably the absolute max, and you're probably better off running a couple degrees of camber in this config, but it looks great, super flush.
    • Oh yeah, always always always turn over an engine by hand first.
    • So by that logic, an insanely expensive GTR for $200k+ is quite cheap, at 12% of Sydney's median house price compared to over 50% when a GTR was new...
    • Apologies... thought i had outlined it... Cheers for the response, I'll get a nipple sorted out for this.
    • lol thanks for the pics but some arrows might have helped for context. If you mean the bit I've badly traced in red, that is a PITA vacuum signal for the power steering pump, only R34 GTT was "lucky" enough to get it. Yes you will need a nipple of the same size somewhere in the intake between the air filter and the throttle or the power steering idle up will not work correctly
