I guess it all depends on what sort of rent you can get compared to the initial cost. Higher value suburbs usually mean more rental income.

Yeah, she'd a tuff old girl. Wouldn't want to go any deeper then that though lol

Sweet, will keep an eye out for you! Be careful around Newcastle itself if your car is modified, the boys in blue had ruined the car scene up here due to the minority that spoilt it for all of us!

Ill be back in here whoring up the joint soon enough guys! Still striuggling to keep up with work and got heaps of stuff to get done!

Going to be an epic cruise on Sunday, sort of sucks i wont be there but i was told by car wont be ready anyway so its no biggie!

To keep Chookie and Kurtis happy we are now going to the 3 pump setup and external etc etc but i am still waiting on the details!

Yeah in the Illawarra if you have an investment and have to pay just under 100 a week to pay interest your killing it. Interest for me is 350 and they said I could rent it for 430 as is and I've dine a bit to it already.

So all up it was an awesome weekend with SO many good cars and such a diverse range, got to spend it all with Carmen and her parents and just had the best time! So although it sucked i missed the cruise, it was certainly worth it!

sorry dude clocked up 38hours since monday at work so i havnt had time to scratch my ass or fix my car either lol

ill try upload some tonight cause im trying to leave early to take wheel/tyre up to be refitted

also im keen to see if they turned out alright too haha

A dude at work is swapping his accord euro for a 400rwkw 33 gtst.

"Everything is done so it'll be sweet" and first friends comment is my favorite "get him to recline a few gears, if it handles that it'll be fine"

What car? Link? 400kw would be insane in a GTST, its my next target but will take a massive leap to get there!!! I assume its 3.0L bottom end maybe?

Yeah 3L bottom end with GT3540 so it would be nice and responsive yet still should make 450kw etc

      The above video is working normally. That is, that's how the right hand indicator should cancel when rotating the wheel left.

      I noticed that I could see creatures on the moon when I turned my new headlights on. I thought I should check the alignment. It's pretty rudimentary but I just grabbed some dry wall and put it against my tablet and made sure the beam was below the height on the headlights. Ie the beam is at 600mm on my car, I just made it lower than that 7.5m away.  Not the best but it'll do until I can do it properly at the local shops.

      As @Duncan said - the bores are most likely to cop it. But anything can and does happen. Rods are cheap. Rods are good. The work to rebuild the motor will be 30x the price of rods. You won't notice it.

      Yeah car has 110 on the clock. That said the front turbo (that exploded) doesn't seem to be the original, it has a S1 part number but the car is a series 3. Yep, in the cat is where I first found the turbine wheel pieces - a couple decent sized ones, then a whole lot of fragments.  I agree, probably makes sense to upgrade parts that are being replaced. Things like rods would be 'nice' but realistically it seems unlikely they would need replacing. I was hoping that it was a case that they generally f**k up the valves but not the bore, or vice versa. Is it generally the scour damage rather than ceramic bits getting mashed into the piston tops / valves? I tried a search but couldn't find any threads with pics from the guts of a motor that's had this happen.

      Front seats now in, fixing a little rust then front doors sealed up again finished. had to install a fire extinguisher within arms distance of drivers seat for hill climb regulations. little bit of good old silo diff action lol IMG_9146.mov
