Is there some cop blitz on at the moment? I have been followed by 3 HWP cars in 2 days through Heatherbrae and the Terrace..... One smiled and gave a nod :blink: I should have gate him!

Sweet, will keep an eye out for you! Be careful around Newcastle itself if your car is modified, the boys in blue had ruined the car scene up here due to the minority that spoilt it for all of us!

Hmmm must just be a localised thing, heaps of them around!

Saw a gazillion on the weekend, we were heading back from a cruise on Saturday and it was cop after cop due to that epic 4WD protest rally thing, i have never seen that many cars together like that! Our cruises are pathetic if we can only get 40 and they can get 2000 hahahaaha

Then again if there were 2000 imports you would probably have f**ken Greenpeace and the military involved lolz

haha what's 4wd protest?

The one on the weekend about Stockton beach..... It spanned for 48kms :blink:

When we passed it we drove past bumper to bumper 4WD's through Industrial Drive, past the coal loaders and way over Stockton bridge :O

yea they banned camping on stockton beach i think... alot of people are upset!

Yeah that was the last nail in the coffin, they originally shut access to the dunes which i think pissed a fair few off and then told them they cant camp etc!

Pretty impressive though, they set a record!

Yep deff should have given him some gate, he would have loved it :ph34r:

I down shifted in front of one to slow down at some lights then light went green took off and "BOOM" goes the RB26 lucky cop was at a red light, and i wasnte even going hard just driving normal, the car has been trolling me with that sort of shit in the past few days, rolled past an RBT on the other side of the road with clutch in and the bitch spat flames as i was next to them :rant:

No visable flames from E85 during the day AND no dark stain from running rich up the back so it looks stock :ph34r:

Yeah I pulled over into one of those RBT station's in hornsby just before the freeway on Saturday night near mid night...

Didn't get pwned for any of my weight reduction mods....

Police Officer: Have you been drinking?

Benji: No sir I don't drink.

Police Officer: Can I please see your licence?

Benji: Yep here it is...

Breath test occurs and all clear

Benji: Just out of curisoity if I happened to have forgotten my licence what sort of fine would I have gotten pwned with?

Police officer gives me a weird look...

Police Officer: $99 mate

Then proceeds to ask me if my address is as per the licence to which I say I'm heading back there now..to which he replied okay have a good night mate.

I then gave the officers in the RBT station each a little courtesy wave and hit the freeway :woot:

Your car is stock, mine is heavily modified....... i fail to see why you would worry?

The complete rear of my car is stripped out lol.....

They could pin me for having no rear seats, no child safety anchor etc etc....

But they didnt notice that because it was nice and dark luckily :).

Having no child anchor points is NOT DEFECTABLE

Having no boot carpet is NOT DEFECTABLE

having no p plate holder is NOT DEFECTABLE

      Yeah I've personally seen the RB26 pull 30 degrees of ignition timing out of the base timing map if the ECU detects a cold start, it nearly starts misfiring because of it around 2000 rpm and it feels like the engine has no power. I'm just surprised that modern OEM control strategies are actually trading off efficiency for in-cylinder emissions. I would expect something like aggressive EGR dilution + tumble generation valve use to improve EGR tolerance to reduce in-cylinder NOx + HC from crevice volume while also reducing throttling loss vs pulling out some timing if not knock-limited.

      Updating results following our SR20det project. Data collected form improves future turbocharger making and high flowing services. So far differences between G and GT series turbine wheels, we are in the process of making a new turbine, the aim is for better mid top range flow without gain too much lag.  Result is back to back comparison of G25-660 and GTX2867 spec turbochargers on the same car, nothing changed apart from turbocharger. Both tuned to knock limit from pump 98 fuel (US Ron93). GTX2867 was about 400RPM more responsive making 255rwkws while G25-660 made 17 extra Kws with wider spread of torque after 4500RPM finishing off at 272rwkws.

      @GTSBoy i tried to jumper the wires and got the steering wheel light to come on which is right under the gear indication but that still doesnt come on.  Can it be an issue with my cluster?
