just on the wollombi idea the last time i went out that way witch was about 6 months ago it was pot holed, if someone wants to get a destination together i can test it out for ya since i live at cessnock its not out of the way or too far

Might be a bit of a hasstle too because you need a full race suit and karting shoes or work boots to enter. May deter people from coming. But I'll look into it!

Where were you sunday? :( I got there so early to see your car haha

It's just an idea for something different. I won't be there so not really up to me lol

Sorry - i wrote in the thread i couldn't make it. I had to drive upto foster to drop some things off. Car wasn't really ready either - i actually didn't even get to drive it before i left :-(

i wouldn't leave that online for very long if you know what i mean..

I wouldnt worry if I was you, the whole reason imports are popular is there performance.

The whole video was pretty tame with only a few 2nd gear pulls so in my opinion nothing to worry about it.

Even videos like this have pretty much flown under the radar

Yeah my friend said they don't hire out ones.

He recommended easten creek karts.

I'll sus out prices tonight but I'd say it'll be to expensive to be popular enough, and seeing as it's not anything official through the club we won't get financial back up and I'm not losing 2k deposit cause people don't show haha. But I will research it and put it to you guys.

It was a good idea wedge :)

At go karts go?? Ive heard there heaps slow and boring??

Awesome ben! I'll write a map up for ya tonight in a PM!

Should be Gay karts Gay! Sloooooooooow!

http://www.skylinesa...__fromsearch__1

Have a read boys.

What do you think about the waiver idea? Fair gay but worth it I guess.

On Sunday i was just going for a drive and a heap of similar cars were behind me......... No responsibility :D

Until some douche bag shows up and crashes because he shows off then says you organized an event and they look at the thread for it.

Cops can find anything on the net, even deleted threads.

Was great on Sunday everyone was good but it doesn't even have to be our fault. Imagine if a cyclist had a heart attack and fell in the middle of the road for instance. Kaboom, can't do sn ortopsy on the mangled body, they decide driver was speeding. The family sues the driver and organizer for everything they got. They'd fail to sue the club because itwasnt affiliatedwith them.

Shit can happen very easily dude.

Haha exactly.

It would be easy to get covered by cams through Sau. It's just being made hard for us cause we don't have Sydney baby sitters up here.

Yeah Gj guys I'm happy with how your working on helping the club!

But I won't help you guys do anything when you need it.

Very frustrating

    • I don't run the spring but it means you need to set your own belt tension.  I put tensioners on both sides too.
    • Hi soviet_merlin, We appreciate your concern regarding this possibly being some sort of PR/Political hype, I assure you that is not the case, I wish we could claim something like that, but in this case, we merely reached out for comment on the basis of the outrage we too felt, as those heavily in the automotive industry. Ps. the original source in the social media post is CarExpert not CarExplore.    Best, CE.
    • Made a bit of a discovery, but while I was cruising, I randomly decided to test to see if it worked and it showed up on my IC7. The entire time I tested it before, I never thought to turn the ignition on. I only tested it with head lights turned on but with the ignition off. Huge oversight on my end. I’m a dummy. I know.
    • G'day all, I have drilled and tapped the hole for the relocation of the timing belt tensioner. That was straight forward. I'm unsure if I need to also put another hole for the smaller stud that the spring behind the tensioner catches on (this is how it seems to work in its original spot). Or do you not use the spring behind it and just torque it down? Thanks in advance, I did a search but couldn't find anything related and it doesn't mention it in the rb30det sau guide.
    • Hi All,  just thought I would provide an update as I know smooth (Matt) was on this forum from 2003.    my brother Matthew passed away end of may 2024 at the age of 41 from liver failure. I am not sure how many of his original team krazy friends are still on here or active but thought it reasonable to let the forum know.    if you have any photos or pictures it would be great if you could share them.    it took me a while to work out he was active on here.    thanks so much
