How many wires from the pole to the house?

Is the tyre machine cheap enough as in a couple of hundred or is it more than that?

Also be very careful what type of arm it has as some can move when taking off or fitting tyres and can scratch rims

Also a good idea to have one or two 15 amp outlets in a garage as well for welders or compressers if needed

3 I think, they replaced them the other day with a single wrapped wire but it still goes to the 3 poles I think....

The tyre machine is from my sisters work so it's cheap, looked OK from pics.... Been a while since I've done tyre fitting tho.... Then I guess the problem is no balancer, be good for skid rims etc but maybe not for other stuff....

Oh, and good point, have been running lights, welders and all sorts through a extension lead

haha dodgy bastard!!

nah its all good, 10 amp wires are rated more then what they can take 12 or 13?, the C/B trips it but overload takes like 30 mins before it trips, so if you constantly welded for 30 mins itd probably trip haha. it could probs run a welder no issues if you didnt have other shit on the circuit too, like if you ran a stove/oven and other shit itd probs trip quicker.

yeah... im not heaps sure about that sorta thing as i build/maintain/fix/anything locomotives haha. and we didnt go into incomers to much at tafe cause thats a specilised field.

it could be all 3 in insulation, you never know what creations there are haha.

lolololol do you have ceramic fuses in your switchboard? or switches??

Dude my house is about 100 years old, it's got a board with a couple of fuses and a hot water switch etc lol

Don't worry Martin, I run 2 welders of the same plug :P it loved it!!

haha i didnt say that!!!

how do you even get 15 amp stuff in a 10 amp plug?? if its 15 amp the bottom pin is to big to fit in. or did you file it down? hah

 special extension lead

I never worry to much

Make sure you get one of those earth leakage switch trip things in the garage when it's wired up

Best thing ever invented and will kill the power before it kills you

f**kkkkinnnnn hell man! you should check to see if the wire is in the fuses and not a nail. if there fuses theyll trip easier but people often put nails in it so they dont trip, aka you have no protection and your house will burn down before it stops working.

suprised it hasnt already if your wires are that old man.

also, if you want me to run you a new circuit to your garage by law i have to rewire your whole house :(
