Definitely possible Jin, But A) probably rarer B) kinda wanted a project not something that's already done, I mean a 32 with a rb25 at the right price i couldnt pass up, but It will probably be out of the price range and half the works already done

when you say you want to blow away xr6t's, are you talking straight line or circle.

xr6t will give you over 300 atw with just a tune and injectors....if you want to beat that in a straight line with an RB25, you may have to sink anything up to $10K into it.

circle stuff is a different ball game....stock skyline will blow your mate's xr6t away.

<-- I have an xr6T already :)

310 rwkw G6eT = 182 Kw per tonne

250 rwkw R32 = 208 kw per tonne.

so how can it not flogg it in a straight line ??

and I assure you a stock xr6t plus tune and injectors wont give you 300+ weather its a BA or FG

(legit question)

why would it blow up running only 13psi and AFR's in the 11's (could run leaner and still safe)?....other than a dump pipe, it still runs a stock exhaust too.......and on pump fuel (no E85 yet)

No doubt power to weight ratio will always play a big role, but there are other determining factors that can't be overlooked for 1/4 mile stuff.

One advantage is the ZF over the 5sp box......Martin Donnon tweaked my ZF last Sat before heading to Kadina with the tribe and with no additional HP, the thing is a different beast.

Curious though, what have you had to do to get 310kw and who's your tuner?

The xr6t runs at 250-60

It's my mates g6et that runs 310 , gt 335 cai , bigger injectors dump pipe and tune

He uses kpm , I'm a fan of Heinrich

If 250 kw r32 won't do do it , then MOAR STEAM:-p. Only good bit about v8 mentality "hey this isn't quicker .... More power do the trick ?? Yer more power :-)

It's ultimately about my own enjoyment and with this project I know it will be enjoyable, the blowing others into the weeds is only a direction,

Much more about having something I can work on and cobble together in the shed than pillaging fords , I wanted to do that it sell the xr and pour it into an f6 and build it,

Sounds good bud....goodluck with it

I use the Martini Boy for my xr6t and the only other fella i'd consider for a ford would be Bruce Heinrich (so good choice) but I figured why go to the student when you have access to the teacher

You mean cost to modify? ECU's, injectors, Clutches, parts etc cost a LOT more on the 34GTT.... i only say this as i have just dropped over $20k on mine to get it over 300rwkw (Its getting tuned at the moment).... I know you can do it cheaper but i wanted it responsive, if the OP wants to beat the other cars i assume he is going to want it setup right. It seems that most parts are expensive on the GTT and harder to get...

I assume thats what you were asking?

Really????

I don't think I have spent as much and still have close to 300rwkw. Thought that being a NEO motor it would have made more power with less $$$ being spent on it :D

Oh and Brian just get a 33 bud :P

Yep really!

i could have probably spent $8k at got 300rwkw with a low mount etc, BUT i wanted to get it really responsive and leave PLENTY of room for MOAR power later on...... Will probably be running around 350rwkw on the NEO for now....... The money quoted also covers things like Cams, Springs and Full Flex tune thought which means ECA blah blah blah so yeah, you can spend that if you do it the right way!

    • I'd be very surprised if you can buy new OEM mats. But if you can, I want some too!  Do you have links to the variations you found? Also, where are you located? I found that Nengun is happy to list items to purchase but when you do buy them you'll get an email that it's actually discontinued. As far as I know the variations in floor mats are different colour schemes as well as automatic and manual having a slightly different shape. The automatic ones fit into a manual car without issues, but I think you'd have trouble fitting the other way around. I have photos that show the shape difference if you care. FWIW I bought sets of used floor mats in decent condition at yahoo auctions.
    • Hi ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™‚๏ธ. Just bought my Unicorn but the interior need some minor work so it would match my expectations ;). I noticed it is hard to get used oem floor mats in good condition so i started to dig if there's any chance to buy set of new ones. I found two websites - nengun and amayama and it looks like one can still buy factory new floor mats in Japan, but thers a small issue. Some mats (i assume genuine, oem ones) are marked as G4900 and these are "discontinued". The ones you can buy are marked as G4911 but i have no idea if these are also oem, made by other producer or some lower quality replacements that looks entirely different. Can anyone help? ๐Ÿ˜ƒ  P.s. there is also some strange indication - 0V005, 0V015 and 0V505. Any idea what does it mean? Would appreciate any help with this ๐Ÿ™
    • Hi, Marek here ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™‚๏ธ. I finally fulfilled my longtime dream - recently bought Stagea and now waiting for it to arrive in Poland. There's only few of these in my country, and one of the owners  recommended mi this forum as a source of all the info i'd need since now i own one  so here i am.
    • Version 1 aluminium airbox is.......not acceptable No pics as I "didn't like the look.....alot" Even after all my "CAD", and measurements, the leg near the fusebox just didn't sit right as it ended up about 10mm long and made the angle of the dangle look wrong, the height was a little short as well, meh, I wasn't that confident that Version 1 was going to be an instant winner I might give Version 2 another go, there's plenty of aluminium at work, but, after having in on and off a few times, and laying in the old OEM airbox without the new pod filter and MAF, there may be an option to modify the OEM air box and still use the Autoexe front cover and filter.... maybe This >  Needs to fit in here, but using the panel, and not the pod, the MAF will need to fit in the airbox though> I'm thinking as the old OEM box and Autoexe cover that is sitting in the shed is just sitting around doing nothing, and they are relatively abundant and cheap to replace if I mess it up and need another, it may well fit with some modifications to how the Autoexe brackets mounts to the rad support, and some dremiling to move it get in there, should give me some more room for activities, as I don't want to move the MAF and affect the tune Sealing the hole it requires to stick it in the air box is simple, a tight fit and some pinch weld will seal it up tight  I am calling this a later problem though
    • and it ends up being already priced in as though you're just on 91RON without any ethanol. Car will lose a bit of economy as the short and long term fuel trims bring down the AFR back to stoich or whatever it is for cruise/idle for the engine.
