Hi all,

This is my first post, great site! I've just bought an R34GTT which was completely stock and have so far been to rob bliss in virginia BNE and had an xforce 3in from turbo back installed, but otherwise its stock in everyway. Im not scared of pooring every pay check into my car for a few months as its my first import and heaps of fun!

Today i drove out to Mt Glorious and after 10mins of very enthusiastic driving I had an oil temp of 110 and the water temp was at 75%. On went the heater and after some calm driving they both came down. Obviously the huge issue is the water temp but I just wanted to know if I have a problem or this is normal of the 34's cooling setup.

Im relatively new to this so any info is much appreciated! Thanks smile.gif

75% is a bit high mate! Would be sussing that out ASAP! Obviously you have checked the coolant level etc? Fan operating OK? Hot/Cold spots on the radiator?

My oil temp gauge would read high after a spirited drive but the coolant temp never budged :)

I had soaring water and oil temps late last year. Would reach 130c oil and very high water. Never trust the stock water gauge, will be probably too late if it shows a high reading.

My problem was my radiator. Stock one is 15mm thick? so quite small.
