R33 Rear Seat Belt Wont Retract

Hi Guys,

The left hand side rear seat belt is pulled out all the way and wont retract, does any one know what i need to do to be able to get to the assembly mechanism. i am thinking that the whole of the back seat needs to come out? am i heading in the right direction with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The car is a 96 r33 gtst series 2

hey mate yea the back seat needs to fully come out. I've done this many a time now. once the seat is out you should be able to see the seatbelt retractor unit.

Thanks for that Ty, did as you mentioned and now its all good. Once i could get to it, just sprayed a bit of WD on to it that was enough to get it spinning again.
