Wardski
I know there are rumours floating about that Nissan is considering extended warranties for the GT-R, but does anyone know the status of this? marksuxass
I know you can extend your warrarnty period for a fee, not sure if Nissan are doing it free of charge to the owners of the 35r though. Davee
North side Nissan in Western Australia told me Nissan teamed up with another company to offer an "extension on the new car warranty" for $7900 for 3 years. Its not a true extension of the new car warranty but will cover any costs up to the value of the vehicle. They would bring your car in and value it by Nissan. So if its value is $100K they would cover that amount. Yea kinda f#$ket up hu? Does not exist. Nissan do not extend warranties on the GTR period. I know the boys at Stratton Finance, so I've asked them for a quote. They deal thru a number of companies (Allianz included). http://www.strattonf...d-warranty.aspx Edited August 6, 2012 by Wardski Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/402835-gt-r-extended-warranty/#findComment-6476149 Share on other sites

Andrewbarry04
I've just recently bought a 2009 Premium from Northside Nissan and they do offer a warranty package as described above. They are also pretty good with aftermarket mods. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/402835-gt-r-extended-warranty/#findComment-6560908 Share on other sites
GT-R OZ
Full 3 years parts and labour warranty being offered on this R35. Very intersting! Knock 10K off the price and probably not a bad buy, especially with on-roads included. http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/nissan-gt-r-2009-14377747?base=&vertical=Car&cr=13&eapi=2&__N=1216%201246%201247%201252%201282%204294963846%204294961487&num=15&silo=Stock&sort=default Edited February 22, 2013 by GT-R OZ Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/402835-gt-r-extended-warranty/#findComment-6762028 Share on other sites
Cherry Racer
That would be a not very reputable dealer here in Sydney. Seeing as though they are reported to have sold an unroadworthy S15 and provide documents that have been manipulated I wouldn't trust their warranty. Definitely not a Nissan warranty.
