Another r33 has been pinched. Taken from outside my mates house when he was at work.

The car was for sale, ad with pics -> http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details...28&__N=1246

Car was fitted with a steering lock, mongoose alarm and immobilizer. Professional job, they probably would have had to bring a spare steering wheel along.

The car was spotted by police down on the gold coast, they tried to pull it over but it sped off and it was deemed to dangerous to chase.

If you happen to spot it or find anything out, please just call the police and pass the info on to them.

Question is, did Chris Rogers wire the alarm for said stolen vehicle?

I hope you're just being funny :P

OP - I feel for your mate. Insurance is a good thing to have. I do and I've also resigned myself to the fact that somebody will steal my car one day so that sorta helps...

Shit i thought this had stopped for a while. My first thought was - did anyone take it or a test drive prior to it being stolen,I don't think it would take long to copy an alarm/imobilser button frequency.

why would I want a 33 ??? :P ( I already own a 31 and a 32.)

I think some of you now know why I use the unit I use. I doubt I did this car. I did see a circular of facebook about one going missing and I reposted it.

club lock - two seconds to remove. think about that. spare wheel - they would need to know that the wheel came off. now if that was listed as a feature in the advert then that prepared them.

if it surfaces tell me and I'll make sure it stays put next time.

just looked at it. thats not one of mine. dumb move posting EXACTLY what unit was on it though. knowing that I would be able to locate and remove it fairly quickly. the shopping list gives me more reason to take it. I know what all these bits fetch on ebay and I can make a bit of money before I torch the car.

sorry for the scare tatics but thats how I would think..
