Please excuse my lame paint skills.

Im going to fab up a front splitter out of plywood, the mounting points I want to use are the ones where the reo bolts to the chassis.

Im thinking that they would surfice for what I want, from looking around at all sorts of sizes Im thinking about having the splitter sitting about 150mm from the front bar.

My only concern is that the front 200mm of the splitter will have no support, BUT, if the brackets are made from say 10 gauge steel ( THICKEST I CAN GET BENT ) and backing plates are used behind the fixtures that join the splitter to the bracket it should be fine.

This is a elcheapo style bolt on for track days jobbie.

Thoughts, Im thick skinned so cut loose.

Thanks, Mark

you need tips from James/Sirlordvanderwhatever :D

One common approached I've noticed is to add a stay from the front edge of the splitter up to the reo - this creates the triangle that you need for strength at the front.
