Denso Fuel Pump

Im replacing my bosch 044 intank, my tuner has recommended I think, it's a denso pump. Will e enough for my 210kw. About $50 cheaper and a bit quieter. They said they have had good results with them. Anyone know much about them

Just to confirm, you've got an 044 in there already, working without drama, and you want to replace it?

Also, in case someone has been telling you porkies; an 044 in tank WILL support 400rwkw so it wont have a drama with 210kw. So if you've been told it needs to be changed in order to support 210rwkw - change tuners.

The pump he/she might be talking about is the Supra JZA80 fuel pump - hard to know though because you don't have a part number for what you're proposing.

As Steve-0 says, the Bosch 044 will deliver; for example...

...still on 700cc injectors and N1 (equivalent to 2860-7) turbos

There has been a batch of faulty 044 last year though Glyn.

denso 50mm high flow pump isnt a bad replacement option i have one in my r 33 and really the only anoying thing about it is that is a bit noisey when primed before turning over the car other then that its quiet efficient and cost savy

Last denso experience i had was leaning out at 220 kw majorly.

Replaced with a walbro and made 250 safely

been through 2 now in 3 months, im blaming the fuel tank but not so sure now. also boost worx recomended them
